The APISimul Editorial Desk

APISimul is a browser-based API mock simulator maintained by a small in-house group that also writes its articles — the same hands on the tool and on the page.

Coverage sticks to api mock tools. In practice it intercepts fetch and XHR calls with a service worker so you can test a front end against fake endpoints without running a backend. Typical runs through it include building a UI before the real API exists, reproducing an error response such as a 500 or a slow timeout and demoing a front end with no internet connection.

Every article is re-read before it ships for two things — that the method holds up, and that it does not present itself as advice. Anything in a regulated area is confined to the calculation.

support@apisimul.com reaches the people who wrote the article, so a correction only has to be read once.
